Biography
DJ Bill Kelly is to the dance music industry what Simon Cowell is to television’s American Idol. He started his music industry affiliation as a DJ at theWarehouse VIII in Miami, FL. Not only was he a regular talent behind the turntables, but a man with a vision. The birth of disco set the stage for his trend setting style. Since that time, Bill’s star intuition has helped many artists’ bring their music to the masses. His roster includes: Donna Summer, KC & The Sunshine Band, Depche Mode, Madonna, Eminem, Pink, Missy Elliot, Trick Daddy, and Outkast. In the world of music created through the use of technology, he assisted in the breaking success of Danny Tenaglia, Oscar G, DJ Abel, and countless others plus the original radio mix show DJ in Miami - Phil Jones.

Achievements Include:

As a DJ, the honors of 2 gold and 4 platinum Recording Industry Association of America sales awards for his association with Madonna, Jody Watley, Technotronic, Expose, Magic Mike and C&C Music Factory.
1980, named ‘Miami DJ of the Year’ by Billboard Magazine.
1980, founded the Flamingo Record Pool in Miami which maintains a base of more than 100 DJs and continues to profoundly impact the South Florida market in terms of breaking new artists.
1986, co-founded the Winter Music Conference which has developed into the largest international ‘dance music convention’ in the world.
1995, inducted into Dance Music Authority Magazine’s ‘Hall of Fame’.
1998, Co-founded along with DJ Bill Hallquist Studio One South recording studio in Miami, FL.
2004, produced the music for the Miami Space Time Project as part of the Performing Arts Center’s participation in Art Basel.
2005, received the Key to the City of Miami Beach and was issued a proclamation for the Winter Music Conference week on its 20th anniversary.
2005, special event consultant and host to nightclub State and Mansion.
2005, Co-founder of Miami’s Q media which specializes in full-service professional quality event production. Services include: logistical planning, marketing/public relations/catering consulting, graphic design, and international entertainment.
2006, Appeared first time @ Ultra Music Festival VIP Arena DJ Set March 2006
