Here is my bio as supplied from my PR director. Very corporate, but it still applies.

Daniel T. Ruke - Creative Director/President of blink marketing and advertising. - Degree: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Ringling School of Art and Design, Sarasota Florida. After meeting Dan, most people sit in quiet awe and think, “Wow, he REALLY understands what will take my business to the next level.” It holds true whether the client is a small start-up or a national multi-million dollar corporation. His business acumen is simply intuitive and goes beyond that of ordinary people.

Daniel Ruke founded blink in 1998 -- just a few short years after graduating from the Ringling School of Art and Design. He spent the years in between learning the business side of advertising by working as an Art Director for large agencies in Tampa Florida, and for a major Southwest Florida printer. This allowed him to both practice his craft, and learn some of the most important secrets of the trade.

Because he identified at a young age that art would become his life (he began taking private art lessons in third grade), Dan was able to master early-on the art and design skills he has today. This has allowed him time to concentrate on finding different ways to push the limits of design in all the different media available; print, radio, television, internet, etc. The word “ordinary” is not in Dan’s vocabulary; everything he touches, and everything that comes out of blink is extraordinary.

With blink Daniel wanted to create a company that provided employees the artistic freedom to create revolutionary work, while offering clients the best results and highest quality. Daniel’s business ideal of “customer satisfaction first” is the governing principle behind blink, in fact he guarantees it.
