    ERNEST HEMINGWAY, the old man was sauced for decades of greatness. Near the end of his life, he'd sit on his toilet and fire his .44 magnum through the walls of his house, terrifying his family. He only stopped doing it because he destroyed several bottles of his favorite rum.
