Oktober 17, 12.30 PM Operator11-time (07:30:00 p.m. GMT), I'll show you why Dutch is just ..English with a different pronunciation!
You don't believe it? Watch this: hand=hand; arm=arm; hair=haar; rib=rib; knee=knie; is=is; was=was; etcetera... (=etcetera ;-))
With some pronunciation-tricks, the Dutch will be amazed next time you visit Amsterdam! And you'll understand *Why* the Dutch make these hilarious mistakes like "Make that the cat wise" and that most infamous (but fully decent in Dutch:) "I fok dogs." Yep, 'fok' means 'to breed' ;-)

8On october 11 it is 4 yrs since we lost Petra, my beautiful sister.
She died in hospital, heavily injured by a serious suicide attempt 5 days earlier.
She was a doctor, she was trained to save lives, and she could not save her own. She was a victim of child-abuse and panicked that day, going to court to sue the guy.
Her life was not ment to end this way... And we were not born to live without her. But we have to.
How do you, me and all of us, in familiar situations, cope with a loss like that? Feel free to send me suggestions for the show...
