There are many great rappers, but if you were around when these guys hit the scene, you kinda have to always consider them the all time greatest. They were the template in so many ways. Who knows if there would even be hip hop as we know it today without Run-DMC? Public Enemy (my second favorite rappers) credit Run-DMC for inspiring them to start a group, Beastie Boys were influenced by them...and so many others. I know these days, it's all about either Biggie or 2Pac when you are talking about the best rappers. Which is fine. But I hope those people give props and honorable mention to RUN, DMC...JAM MASTER JAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!
