who is this?
a bunch of musicians and non-musicans from Brooklyn/New York City
sounds like improv
it is... many are strangers to one another
it's cool
people are just coming off the streets as well
haunting
led by Jeremy Linzee of the band Summer Lawns
never heard of them
very cool though
art rock
something like that:-)
it would be a coll record to have
i think we're calling it situationist space rock
hahaha related to math rock?
not quite...
look up guy debord and situationist international on wikepedia and that might explain things:-)
experimental...
it reminds me of some of the 60s psyche improvs
definitely.
gong and the lot
don't know them but can imagine...
just heard about 50 foot hose. that's good stuff
they have songs on myspace
:-) have to check them out...
this is great right here!
pink floyd

well, i hope you/they get this in print. is it available for download anywhere?
I think Jeremy is recording it... we'll see what happens...
it will just be archived here for the time being
this is live, atm?
yes.
haha too good. i went to ny tonight haha
the neighbors won't be so happy in the morning...
it's LOUD!
i bet, wish i was there to join in
Situationist Bauhaus<<<? petaining to the school bauhaus copped their name from?
pertaining. heh.
No... Situationist Bahaus was an offspring of the Situationist International...
which formed in '57
This is somewhat of an homage to the original '57 group
led by the theorist Guy Debord
that's more theory than we need at this hour though:-)
i read that. i was just wondering if there was a relation to the school. you don't hear the word bauhaus much
The SB was a faction of SI, which never lasted long in the first place...
but their theories are still completely relevant...
